OEM REPLACEMENT INSTRUMENT PANELS
Avion OEM replacement instrument panels are direct replacement for the original equipment panels and plastic overlays. Made from aircraft quality aluminum, customized layouts are possible, updating non standard instrument layouts to the more desirable standard "T" six-pack design.  The essential feature of the Avion OEM replacement panels is that they fit onto the original mounts and require minimal to no modification to the aircraft structure.

  • Installed under FAA 337, material certification supplied.
  • Installed with throttle, mixture and prop control in place.   Environmental controls removed and re-installed.

INSTALLATION

  • Remove original panel per Service Manual.

  • Perform normal instrument service checks, overhauls etc.

  • Check each instrument into its location to ensure correct fit.

  • Complete wiring as appropriate on bench.

  • Install in aircraft per Service Manual and re-install all wiring and instruments.

  • Perform required performance checks etc.

  • Complete FAA 337 Field Approval. (Examples available.)

 

        

ORDER AND DESIGN PROCESS
  • Complete order form on web to receive layout  drawing and order information....Order Form Link
  • Complete check list and return to Avion.
  • Avion will issue a Project number and assign an engineer and a direct contact phone number. A deposit is required at this point.
  • You will be mailed paint chips for color selection.
  • Markup standard layout drawing to suit your instrumentation.
  • Email or fax back to Engineer.
  • Your custom drawings will be updated and emailed back for your approval or correction within approx. 24 hrs.
  • Upon your approval and signed acceptance of the design your panels will be fabricated and shipped within approx 5-7 days.
